Dean needs a vacation that's bigger than he is, bigger than all the shit that's gone down. Dean needs to go someplace where he feels small and can be awed by something positive. He needs to go to the Grand Canyon.
I think Sam would be happy any place where Dean could kick back. And you never know, there might be some hikers like Haley wearing short shorts they could oogle.
I keep thinking that Dean is so much like John that he'd do the whole quiet drunken binge in a mountain cabin for a few days. I think it would take Sam to push and prod and manhandle him into a big vacation that would make him forget about all the demon mojo crap for a few days.
Got to admit I chose the beach, not so that Dean could ogle girls in thongs, but so that I could imagine Dean in just swim shorts (or even thongs himself!) on the beach ... that boy spends too much time in the gloom and needs some sun ... and I need to be on the next available patch of sand to see him catch the rays ... hmm .. nice image yes?
Yes - Sam and Dean in full glorious daylight getting a much needed tan, or in Dean's case more freckles!
I say all of the above, personally. For Dean, at least. He'd want to recover some place quiet, unwind a little first before he really starts celebrating, so probably start up holed up somewhere safe and quiet (the cabin). Then, once it's sunk in that they've WON, then he'd want to go to Disney Land :) After that, since they're in the area (sort of), they could go to one of the beaches and watch the eye candy go on by... then maybe start travelling around seeing the actual, y'know, SIGHTS rather than just killing things for a while, but knowing Dean, he'd wind up on a hunt some time during vacation, though I don't think that he'd actually go looking for one :/
As for Sam... I think he'd like to travel overseas, see the world, that sort of thing. He'd probably spend some time with Tibetan monks, visit the capitals of various countries, hang out in Shanghai and Tokyo (can we say Samzilla towering over the natives?), see Australlia (Dean'd have a field day watching the kangaroos and other critters), and find a swamp monster of some sort in South America. He'd probably also run into other hunters, so their small world in that area would be stretched out as well :) As for how Dean'd go with him, well, Dean would do anything for Sammy and would totally be getting himself some tranqs and then join the mile high club :)
OK, so Dean's absolutely still in shock at killing the Demon and it's not really a intentional vacation, but they're in the cabin (because they're flying under the radar) and it all hits him and he drinks his way through everything he can find. And then Sam gets worried, because he'd have expected Dean to be celebrating by working his way down Bourbon Street, seeing how many places he can get kicked out of in one night, not sitting on the front porch, looking at the trees and generally being mellow. So he hauls Dean out to the car one night, and tries the equivalent of shock therapy: Disney when hung-over. Barfing on the Tea Cups is just a bonus. =)
I say Dean - beach, because that's Dean's stereotype idea of a good time. He'll have drinks and ogle thongs, cos he's just that good at repressing. After the party, though, he's liable to go through the Jack.
As for Sam, Disney is a guilty pleasure (seeing all that feel-good, and pretending he's a kid in a happy family), but what he really wants to see is John hugging Dean. Not so important where. And then he might feel conflicted (Daddy issues) and either have a cathartic fight with John, which he would win because it is his ideal vacation, or be happy that Dean let go of the tough guy routine for five whole seconds.
Too complicated? What can I say. Everyone has Daddy issues.
Dean's ideal vacation: well, to quote the man himself, “One word. Amsterdam...Come on man, I hear the coffee shops don’t even serve coffee.”
Sam's: you know, I had to go the cabin, because every time Sam is stressed, he takes off on his own. So after this major, major stress, I'm thinking some quiet time in the cabin. Preferably drunk.

(Dean would probably like the beach better, but Sam makes a bitchface until he gets his way.)

Sam would really love Europe too. John would love seeing his boys happy and anywhere but the passenger seats of the Impala for a little while.
