Okay, I've about had it with my body. For the third time in a little over a month, I'm sick. Grrr.

On the plus side, still managed to have a good weekend.

Went to our local indy league wrestling on Saturday. Our boys put on their usual great show, highlighted by the triumphant return of one Joey Matthews, formerly Mercury. He looks good, and it was wonderful to see him.

Also had Rhyno, Billy and Jesse, and Alex Shelley there, so all in all, a great show and a fun time.

Sunday, we saw "Hot Fuzz" which was a lot of fun. Possibly one of the gayest movies ever.

Last night, we ended up watching Gene Simmons' Family Jewels, which was kinda awesome. His son's adorable, and his daughter's quite a hottie. It was oddly addictive. *nod*

I need a nappy time.

I kind of want to MARRY Nick Simmons...and it doesnt hurt that hes my age already. So its a more realistic crush than on Jensen Ackles (ten years older) or JDM (approx. 11 years)

And Sophie is...fricking! gorgeous! I figured she was 17 or so...no...she's like...15. (i think. if im remembering correctly - i could be way off base)

Sorry you're sick. I was helped during my 3-month flu this winter by taking oil of oregano. I know I'm revealing the hippie company I keep but I did feel better right away. My problem was that I wasn't able to sleep enough to get my immune system running well.

Is there a pho place near you? It boosts the immune system. Really.

I know everybody is probably telling you what to do, and not knowing what kind of ill you are I could be way of target,
but I spent the last 6 months with flu like symptoms, low grade fever and nausea, and depression, about every 7-10 day for 3-4 days at a time turns out it was severe B12 deficiency so now I´m telling everyone who get repetedly ill to get their B12 level checked out.
So have you had your B12 level checked out recently :)

I know you've moved in to bigger and better things but is there anywhere on might be able to read your old wrestling fic? It was always quite amazing and I have one or two that I've dug up from google but not the ones I'm really itching to read.

I hope you're feeling better. I've also been sick a lot this year, currently sick with a sinus infection, so I feel your pain, although I usually get two weeks a month free from illness. I hope this passes quickly for you. *hugs*

Gene Simmons' Family Jewels is pretty hillarious - my favorite ep's the one where they go to visit Gene's mom over in New York and she has this whole basement of KISS stuff in a mini-shrine to him. Nick's comment on it ("It's like 'ahhh! Gene-ism!'") never fails to make me laugh.

Feel MUCH better.

The I love about Family Jewels is that Gene is obviously trying to keep up his "giant rock star" image and the wife and kids never let him get away with it. I find it really kind of adorable.
