Ah, the sweet sound...
Of the sump pump working it's magic.
Thanks to the lovely monsoon, we lost power for about 8 hours, during which time the sump pump threatened to again overflow. So, that was 3 hours of bailing, until we were able to string a cord across the street to the neighbors who didn't lose power, and were kind enough to let us plug the sump pump in.
I need to bake these people cookies. Or a cake. Or something. Cause damn. Even with the not horribly long bail job, I'm a sore puppy.
But that's okay. Cause tomorrow, we will go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the cheap theater. We're taking Shelly, as a reward for catching the sump pump before it flooded the basement.
Wow, Dungeons and Dragons 2 is a bad movie. Just damn. *watches avidly*
