This just in...

A Massachusetts think tank has concluded that the divisive campaign and aftermath of the elections may be harmful to gay/lesbian mental health.

No shit, Sherlock. Did we really need y'all to do a study to tell us that?

In other news, every time I see the commercial for National Treasure, I have to fight the urge to squeal "Boromir!" Sean Bean makes me a happy happy lesbian.

*snerk* Gee, I can't possibly imagine why our mental health/self-esteem would be affected by having our relationships be compared to bestiality, incest and pedophilia. Hmm. Nope, still don't get it.

Dude, I need their job. Would "Hi, My Name Is: Captain Obvious!" fit on one of those badges?

Exactly how does one get a job at a think tank. Cause dude, I think. Can't I work for them? I'd come up with slightly less obvious shit, I promise!

"New Study from Massachusetts shows: the sky is blue! Also, when you drop things, they fall down! Amaaaazing!"

Get some sort of funky degree and convince people to pay you to think about things?

That's my best guess anyway.

In other news, every time I see the commercial for National Treasure, I have to fight the urge to squeal "Boromir!"

What's amusing for me is that "Boromir!" sounds like some sort of war cry to me when I say it out loud. The possibilites are highly amusing. Especially the ones where you're chasing after Sean Bean. ;)
