*sigh*
I've been trying to update this damned thing for a week now, but I keep getting sidetracked.
Grandmom had another episode of shortness of breath yesterday, her second in 2 weeks, so the doctors think that they're going to have to do something. What exactly it is that they're planning on doing, I'm not sure. She's being transferred down to Union Memorial for a consultation with the same doctor who did Mom's bypass. Grandmom's cardiologist thinks that between them, they can come up with an option that will help her without resorting to open heart surgery. I'm hopeful, but at the same time, I'm trying to be realistic. She's 90 years old, any surgery is risky as hell. I'll be crossing my fingers, though.
Aside from that, life goes on.
On the good side, one of our patient's mothers just looked at me and said, "You've lost a lot of weight, haven't you?"
