Just like the light of a new day, it hit me from out of the blue.
Woot! We made it to Friday! Which is a good thing, because if I had to deal with patients for too many more days, I'd be ready to smack someone.
Good lord, people were annoying yesterday. It was the kind of day when I was lucky that people couldn't see my face through the phone. Or the times I was flipping them off. I just had a bunch of demanding people who did not have their listening ears on. I was about to turn into the gentle parenting chick from tik tok, and tell them to catch a bubble.
My favorite wast he older woman who made me transfer her to the site so that they could tell her that no, the tech would not help her husband with his enema for his prostate MRI. Even though I had told her repeatedly by that point. Ugh.

Tonight, we have Frostmaiden, which will be awesome. Tomorrow, I have work for four hours, then we'll go to do the walk through of our apartment. We're very excited about this. I can't wait to see my actual apartment. The rest of the weekend will be quiet as we have no games scheduled. So, it's just going to be a nice quiet weekend.
I'm excited about the new apartment, but I'm also still anxious and a little sad. Though the sad, I'm well aware, is sad for things that have been gone for a long time. But I imagine especially on Thursday, the sad will hit me. There will probably be tears at the thought that is's the last time I'll sleep in this house that I've had in my life since I was born.
This weekend, my plans are to clean up the office, get shit off the bookshelves. I'll clean up as much of my desk as I can, but the majority will be done on 1/2 after I get off work.
I have to call the furniture people on Monday to see if I have a time they'll be delivering, or if it's just "sometime during the day." Hopefully, they can narrow it down to a window at least.
I've been looking at pictures for above our sofa. I think I've found it, though it's going to have to wait until tax time to get purchased, because Niche Canvas is fucking expensive.
