If you need to know that you weathered the storm of cruel mortality
Why is it so early? Even with Dad in the rehab, one of us has to get up early to be upstairs for the dog. Normally, that's not a problem, but wow, I'm tired today.
I think part of it is looking at today, which has a fairly tight schedule and wincing. It's going to be a busy day for me. First up, it's up to see Dad at the rehab, and attend his care meeting. I'm dreading this. He's such a petulant man-baby that I never know what I'm walking into. So it could be interesting. That's at 11:30. Then I was going to try to take him to lunch at the cafeteria around noon. I have to leave no later than 1, because I have an interview at 2pm. It's with a plastic surgery office, for their call center. I'll be honest, I wasn't thinking I'd get a second interview for this one, because well, plastic surgery. I figured I did not have the look they'd want, even for a non-public facing role. But, I got invited for a visit, so I'm going to go and see what they offer, and if they're interested in me. After that, I get to fight afternoon traffic to get home by 4, for another phone interview with Hopkins (for a different job that I applied for). Then, at 4:30, I will take a nap, because after three weeks of doing nothing, that's a lot.
Tomorrow is quieter, I only have a phone interview with University of MD physicians at 10:30, and the rest of the day is free for the moment. I don't know if one of us will be going up to visit Dad or not. We shall see. I know my sister is going on Saturday, because Jess and I deserve a free day. So whether she's going two days in a row or not, I have no idea.
Aside from that, not a whole lot going on. We had a lovely Wednesday night game, and I did my phone intereview yesterday. Which went well enough that I'm going for my second interview today. Aside from that, I was mostly applying at various jobs.
Okay, going to go do my morning job trawl. Everyone have a wonderful Thursday!
