Burn in an alleyway through a dead end street, murdering promises that I just can't keep
It's office day, ew. I am sitting here drinking coffee and trying to get my game face on. (Aka my not muttering "fucking really?" at random points of the day.) I will be good!
Today, as far as I know, I'm just doing three people's jobs, but that may change. Yesterday, it was four people's jobs, plus some coaching. People come to me about the Pending queue and ask wtf to do with cases. I don't mind, but it would be nice to get paid for being a de facto manager.
My recruitment continues to be weird. I got a "How was your recruitment?" survey for the TL position. Normally that comes out when you've been eliminated. Normally again, you're told well before that survey comes out. So, I sent a message to the manager who interviewed me. She tried to tell me that it's a "timed" survey. Which is total bullshit, but whatever. I can't do anything about it either way, so I'm just going to let it ride.
Tomorrow we'll have home health, but I don't think we have any other appointments. Poor Jess has both home health and PT to deal with today. I hate when they have multiple appointments on my office day. It makes things difficult. We've only got one more week of OT, so that's two less visits a week. Sadly, I like the OT. The PT thinks Yoda sounds "mean." He barks when they come in, and when they leave.
Tomorrow a glorious day off, and then we shall have Strahd! It's the big dinner with the count, and I have a bit of work to do on my planning for that. Then Saturday is our big day out! I'm hoping the weather cooperates and we're able to follow our plan of eating outside. Another thing that there's not much I can do about. We'll have fun no matter what.
Okay, I have taken my morning pills and am mostly ready for the day. Going to slug down the rest of this coffee and get my ass in gear. Everyone have an awesome Thursday!
