I wanna roll with him, a hard pair we will be
Well, another day of posting late I guess. As I’m typing this, Dreamwidth is down. It came back! Hopefully, it’ll pop back up momentarily. I’m not sure I like writing in a googledoc, though being able to adjust text size is kind of nice.
It’s Sunday and I am off of work for the second day of Con.txt. I don’t know how many panels I’ll be going to, but there’s a couple of possibilities. So far, Con.txt has been super fun as always. coyotegestalt’s Monster of the Week game, which was awesome. We played as part of a monster hunting family in the Rust Belt. I played the mundane, which made me the "Trust me" face character with bystanders, witnesses and the like. Then, when the time came for fighting, I barely connected with just about every shot, of course. The first half of the game, I was rolling stellar, but Roll20 giveth and taketh away. The second half, I think the highest I rolled was a 9. It was just sad. But in the end, we defeated the vrykolakas. (Which is a type of vampire that can happen when a werewolf dies.). They are an awesome GM, and I hope I can convince them to do so again.
I didn't make it to many of the panels yesterday, since I had a raging headache most of the day, and the sound was just making me want to throw my ears across the room. I did co-mod the Leverage panel withpoisontaster. Owing to the headache, I don't feel like I talked enough, but thanks to PT, it went really well. This was especially true since we were banging out the talking points around 9am.
During a break, we went up and got some stuff from the local vegetable/bakery stand, which was nice. We got egg knot rolls and tomatoes and cider donuts. All important stuff!
Today, I shall relax and prepare myself mentally for work tomorrow. Whoo.
