Some days won't end ever and some days pass on by
And it's Thursday. I slept okay, but I woke up with a bit of a headache, and my stomach is making alarming noises so that's annoying. Taking the day off isn't an option. I simply have too much to get done today. Hopefully, it'll settle down after some coffee.
The last three or four days, my left knee has been bothering me. It feels inflamed and stiff and sometimes when I put weight on it, there's pain. Not all the time, though. Sometimes it's just mildly uncomfortable. I'm debating on the merits of using a cane today, but it's such a pain in the ass that I probably won't. Might steal Dad's knee brace. It probably won't stay put, but since I do have a bit of walking to do it might be good.
M is out, so I'm on delivery updates, and retraining the woman who's doing them this weekend. She kind of got tossed to the wolves because S. is out for 10 days on vacation. Plus, I have all my normal markets, and whatever else the day throws at me.
Then, I will come home and fall over, because ugh.
Apparently, three people got suspended at the office yesterday for fighting. Verbally, not physically, but after they were warned, they went back at it. And they did it in front of both a manager, and that manager's boss. Just not the brightest. I'm sorry I wasn't there to run to the staff cafe and make popcorn.
CONfab is this weekend (Registration closes today!) and I've got half a powerpoint. I've got the information for the powerpoint, just have to figure out how to word the slides, and actually make them. That is going to be a problem for tomorrow me.
Of course, tomorrow me has to teach herself the Call of Cthulhu game system by 7pm, so sbe's is going to be a busy person. Plus, I have to work in time to visit Dad.
Had a lovely Frostmaiden game last night, which was good. Not as good? The bane of TTRPG players everywhere: Scheduling. The summer is historically a difficult time to schedule, so I may be doing a lot of one shots in the future as pickup games when people can't make it.
