And when the stars are shining brightly in the velvet sky
Monday has arrived in all it's glory. I could probably have napped a few more minutes, but since I went to bed super early, I feel pretty good today. It's going to be a day of busywork, so that'll be annoying, but I will deal.
Today, I need to visit Dad after work, so I'll be throwing pork chops in early, so they'll be ready in time for dinner. I had gotten stuffed pork chops from the Amish Market on Friday, and I'm looking forward to baking them. Technically, they're less stuffed than pork chops with a big glob of stuffing on top, but I don't know what you'd call them.
Yesterday had not much going on. I did get off at 1:30 for the CONFab business meeting. Work was dull. I finished my markets and did busywork for a while before hopping off to listen into the business meeting. Most of the time was dedicated to the virtual con, which is in less than two weeks. The other part was discussing the Covid policy for the in person con, which needs to be set before the end of the virtual for announcements sake. It was interesting to get a peek behind the scenes.
Which brings me to shameless self promotion: Confab is coming up on April 29th-30th! On the Saturday Schedule, there's panels galore! OFMD, The Fic Clique telling you how to find new awesome fics, and my panel, RPF Through the Ages! Sunday will be activities day, with Movie watch alongs, flash panels, and TTRPG games. I'm running a fairly fluffy Monster of the Week game called "Too Many Draculas." I've run it before, and it was a fun, lighthearted game. I went with Monster of the Week because it is one of the easiest systems to learn-perfect for new players. No myriad of different dice, just two 6 sided ones. We'll be playing on Roll20, which takes all the math out of the equation. So, if you've ever thought my TTRPG recaps sounded like fun, nows your chance! Registration closes on April 27th.

Today is going to be all busywork, because the markets always come in late on Mondays. I am not looking forward to it, since inevitably the busy work is stuff I do not enjoy doing. Oh well, I guess I am expected to actually work during the time they're paying me.
Okay, time to get myself together for work. Everyone have the best Monday that a Monday can be!
