We're all just dancers on the devil's dance floor
I had a great deal of difficulty getting out of bed this morning. It doesn't help that I get up half an hour early on the days i go into the office. Except today it was more like 10 minutes, because I couldn't get motivated. Now, I'm sitting here drinking coffee and searching for my motivation.
I've got a 2 hour meeting this afternoon, an "introduction" to the new realignment. Still don't know what the realignment means to us, but dammit, we're going to learn about working with other departments and how Ikea should be more like Disney. (Yes, really. Three people have screen shotted that frame of the presentation and sent it to me.). Depending on how tired I am, I may have to point out that Disney invested in technology in a way that IKEA has not. Ikea pays better than Disney, so possibly I won't. Depends on how annoying they are.
I have had a two day migraine going on, which has been fun. It's not horrible, but it's not good, either. I did feel up to playing last night, and had a lovely time slaughtering unimaginable horrors. :). My squishy wizard got a little too close to the action and went down, but thanks to the quick acting cleric, I got better.
Dad fell out of bed yesterday. He was either trying to reposition himself, or was disoriented enough to try to get out of bed, and on the floor he went. He's okay, but my anxiety is through the roof. I spoke with the nurse about his Phenobarbital. His levels were low, and they increased the dosage, but he's been sleepy and spacey since. I'd like to see how he is off it. If that doesn't help, he's going to the neurologist, because something is going on.
Tomorrow, we have a meeting with his care team, so we'll see how that goes.
Okay, guess I should get myself together for work. Everyone have a lovely Thursday!
