We're only gettin' older, baby
It's Thursday and time to go back in the office. I'm sure no one will be there today, and I'll be stuck trying to work the Updates. They've been running very high this week, averaging about 800. With only 3 people to work them, it does not make things easy. Oh well, I'm not going to stress about it. I did agree to work 5 hours on Friday if they can get overtime for me to help out, which was probably kind of dumb, but the extra money would be nice. I honestly don't think the powers that be will be willing to give the OT, so it wasn't a hard offer.
Jess' doctor called, and yeah, we still have no idea what's going on. They've added a hysteroscopy to see what the weird thing is. They didn't seem particularly concerned. Still, it's disconcerting. And they mentioned that they're going to the hospital to try to get more slots for surgery, so that may move up the procedure some. We shall see.
What does that mean for vacation? Mo clue. For now, we're going full speed ahead. Even with the new surgery dates, it's probable that it's still going to be more than 36 days out. So unless we're told otherwise, Disney is still on.
It's a three game weekend, so I'm excited about that. First up, Friday we'll finish the Christmas "one shot" game, then on Saturday, it's MotW, then on Sunday holy shit it's the 2 year anniversary of the Frostmaiden game. I see all these people online talking about how their games fizzled out, and I'm so proud of our group. It's amazing that it's been two whole years of this single module.
Apparently, I am stressed out enough between everything that my body has decided to bless me with another period. I am not amused. I did not miss the cramps and headaches.
Okay, time for me to go forth and get dressed in actual pants. Have a good Thursday everyone!
