Some people really got to fight to survive and some people are white guys in 1985
Wednesday has arrived, whatever that means. I don't have a whole lot going on today, unless they decide to put me somewhere else, but all in all, I'm expecting another quiet day.
It seems like the problem with Dad was the low blood pressure. We skipped his dinner dose, and his BP came back up to normal, and he's 100% better. Actually, he seems to be doing better than he has in a couple of weeks. Better however, means more chatty. I swear, he talked for an hour straight. Most of it was things I've heard before, a lot about his army days and his extended family. I'm glad he's feeling better, but wow. He's mostly deaf, so his voice is kind of loud. I feel bad that he's been having low blood pressure for who knows how long, and we didn't catch it.
In other annoying news, the dog has poopy butt again and definitely is not letting us near it. Fortunately, he has a groomer appointment on Friday, but I still hate it. I bent to pet his back yesterday and he yelped, thinking I was going for his butt.
Jess got their Covid and Flu shot on Monday. So far, they've only been achy from it, so yay. I'm glad they avoid the dramatic reaction I have.
I realized yesterday that I only have 18 days until my 40's are over and my 50's begin. That's freaky. Aside from a few aches and pains, I don't feel any different. On December 17th, I will become a quinquagenarian!
Tonight we have a midweek Frostmaiden game, which should be fun. We left it on kind of a cliffhanger last time, so we'll hopefully resolve that.
And now, I shall go get myself together for work. Everyone have a wonderful Wednesday!
