Carry me home, got my blue nail polish on

Okay, it's Monday. Whoo. I'm sure it'll be a nice and boring day, but we'll see. I have a feeling I'll be doing the pending returns queue most of the day, so that'll be thrilling. The markets usually don't come in til about 5, when we've already left, so I won't have that to do. Mondays are probably one of my least favorite days for that reason. Sundays are much better.

Yesterday was okay. I finished my and J's markets and then worked pending for a while. The nice thing about Sunday is that all the people I like to chat with are in the office, and that keeps it from being boring. Monday, it's just J and M, so it's a little bit quieter.

After work, I had a meeting to discuss taking over as Social Media Coordinator for Confabulation. It turned out there were two of us, so we're going t split the duties. This is most assuredly going on my resume, and will look much more impressive, I hope. Confab is what Wincon became, so I have a soft spot for it, having been at several of the original Wincons.

After that, it was game time! To me, it felt a little bit chaotic, but everyone said they had fun, so I suppose I'll take them at their word. We ended the session on a party with the orcs and ogre they were expected to slaughter, so that was fun. The party is slowly getting through the module, and indeed only have a little ways to go to finish the second chapter. It seems like this may end up being about a 5-6 session module, which isn't half bad.

I did my few Black Friday purchases, and now I wait for my packages. The hard part. I got Jess the cutest pair of Betsey Johnson combat boots which they can use for dressy occasions, as well as every day. I also picked up a new computer for them for easier D&D. They took over my old chromebook when I got the Macbook, but it is old and having issues, so it was time. They are getting an ASUS Vivobook 15". It seems like a very nice laptop and had a pretty good write up. Lastly, I finally found my dress for our fancy dinner at Kiyonna. The rest of my stuff will wait until next paycheck. The waiting is the hardest part, I think. Amazon and it's like have spoiled me. If it's not here in 2 days, I'm pining. It's been years upon years since I bought from Kiyonna, so I have no clue how fast their shipping is, but Torrid can be a little slow. The computer should at least get here relatively quickly.

I'm at a point with the vacation that there's nothing to plan for eight days, and it's making me a little twitchy. It's getting so close and I just want it to be here and everything to go well. I feel like I've done all my research, and I've got things down. I just need to put everything in practice.

Okay, time for me to get myself together for work. Everyone have the best Monday you can!
