Monday, Monday, so good to me
Okay, that subject line is a lie. Mondays are not generally good to me. I dislike them intensely, which is funny, since I work on Sundays, so it's not even my first day of the week. There's just something about the day that's just annoying. Here's hoping today is not bad for any of us.
I do have to text the guy who's supposed to do our gas line on Thursday and see if they'll still come if it's drizzling, since there's about a 60% chance of some rain. I took the day off, but if he's not going to come again, I will debate on giving the time back. (I probably won't, but I'll think about it.).
After fighting with our shitty mattress and the debris in the room, it has been decided that there's no way we could renovate the room and still live safely in it. So, we're going to set up shop in the front basement instead of in the bedrooms. It's all tile, so it'll be mopped and deep cleaned, so it'll be good. We'll order the new mattress and a cheap bed base. It makes sense, since we're the only ones in the basement now, so that'll be good. It's kind of exciting, being able to get new stuff.
Today, we're going to get the fucking Kallax unit out of the living room, and take a constant weight off my mind. I've been worried that if we needed an ambulance for Dad, we wouldn't be able to get a stretcher in, because the Kallax is blocking the front door, and the sliding door is a little too narrow to accommodate it either. So that is a tiny proverbial stone out of my shoe.
I got off work early to play D&D, so that was fun. This one is off the Confabulation server and I'm just a player, so that was a lot of fun.

confabcon. The schedule looks amazing, and I'm very much looking forward to it. I'm going to be presenting a D&D panel on Sunday morning, and volunteering a couple of hours on the Discord. It's only $20 to register for the whole weekend, and should be a lot of fun. Hope to see you there!
