And it is back to Thursday. My most disliked day as I put on real pants and a bra and deal with my coworkers where I have to watch what my face does. I don't wanna go in the office. It sucks. People suck. Ah well. I shall suck it up and do my job.
I continue to wait for word on the job. I have a feeling that I'm going to be waiting til next week, which will just drive me insane.
Yesterday was not horribly busy. Got my stuff done despite our ongoing issues with the Outlook desktop app. It keeps telling us that we're at capacity, even though I barely have anything in the memory. I think the real problem is the group inbox, but I have no idea. All I know is that it's borked. Hopefully, our lovely IT people can think of something while we're in the office.
I had the Coworker Engagement Forum thingie which was interesting. It seems like it'll be a lot more outreach, which is what I was hoping for.
I spent time on the phone with my former and current manager. First was trying to fix the issues with my outlook, then both of them called J and I and tried to feel us out about our markets. Between the two of us, we do probably 85% of the markets we get. I'm averaging 275 lines a day, and J is at a whopping 334. I think they were hoping we'd say that yes, we were overwhelmed. Instead, we both were like "Yeah, it's fine." I managed to keep from saying that it' s not that we do a ton, it's that other people do jack and shit. It was hard, though.
I don't like things hanging over my head, so I tend to get them done quickly, which means I'm bored the rest of the day. It's not ideal, I gotta say. I mean, I appreciate that I'm paid to do nothing, but I don't like being bored.
Okay, I suppose it's time to get myself together. Gotta dig out clothes and brush my hair. Ew.
