Every step that I take is another mistake to you
And, way too quickly, it's Sunday again. But it's the last day that I have to do Delivery Updates for a while, so I'm looking forward to that. All I'm hoping is that they didn't leave me a ton from Friday and Saturday, but we'll see.
This morning, I feel okay, so whatever was going on seems to have passed. I'm going to assume it was just allergies, since it only lasted for a day. Yesterday, I had a headache, but the congestion mostly went away by 10, so I think that was just a morning thing. And the headache is nothing new, so I just laid down for an hour and was fine. I would have laid down longer, but I had a sugar crash and had to come upstairs for a ginger ale. Annoying, body. Do better.
Aside from that, the only thing I did was run over to Nordstrom to do curbside pickup for a top I'd gotten for my interview. I'm not sure I like it that much, so I'll see if I want to wear that or the red shirt from Torrid. It's very pretty, but it's close fitting, and as a fat chick I'm not sure I love it. I will think on it. I do have one other coming in that is also under consideration, so we'll see how that looks.
I told Jess I wanted a look of "this old thing, yes I have many work appropriate clothes," yet, "this is expensive, and I am in your social circle." I don't know how well I will manage it, but I want something that will make me feel confident. I'm still feeling like I'm a long shot for the job, but I want to give it my best shot.
No game yesterday, which felt like a waste of a Saturday, but we have Witchlight tonight, so that's good. I need to read ahead on the module to see what my crew is likely to encounter. They've reached the big palace at the end of the module. Running the pacifist run, they're having a much faster game than they would if they were stabby about it. I'm not sure how quickly they're going to get through the palace, though. There's a lot of puzzles and encounters they need to figure out
Still, at twice a month, I kind of expect to have it done before we get to Halloween. Then, we'll probably move Strahd to twice a month and maybe start a new once a month game. We shall see.
Next weekend, I have a session 0 with Jess' friends on Saturday. We're playing early, as one of their friends is on the other side of the Atlantic, and our normal time would be at ass o'clock in the morning. We're going to do everything from character creation on, so that will be new. Between session 0 housekeeping and making characters, it could be a lot. I also have a Spelljammer game that I'm going to be playing in next Sunday and the Sunday after. I'm looking forward to playing, but I have no idea what type of character I'll play yet. I'm a bit of a chaotic player. I tend to be quiet until I do something completely off the wall and break the game a little. Since the DM is new to me, I'm going to try to be on my best behavior. It's off the Confabulation Con server, so occasionally, I venture out of my little safe haven.
Okay, time for me to go get myself together, I suppose. Two more days til everyone is back from their vacations. M will be back tomorrow, but J took an extra day off to do laundry when he got back from his family vacation. I actually managed to get a market done on Thursday, so at least one of ours got done!
