And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket
It's Saturday, and I have no plans until 4 when we have a Masks game. I woke up at 5:30, and managed to go back to sleep til 8:30! Of course, now I have a bit of a sleep headache, so that's not ideal, but I'm sure some ibuprofen will take care of it soon.
Yesterday, I strapped on the big girl pants and went and got my emissions test done. I'd been putting it off, because it's on the other side of town and traffic is normally icky. The actual appointment took all of 3 minutes, and was pretty painless. We passed, so that was good. Since our car is nearly 15 years old, I was a little concerned.
Once it was done, I mostly piddled around on the internet. We were under a severe thunderstorm and tornado watch, so I was a little anxious most of the day. Fortunately, neither bore out. We had a few boomers after I went to bed, apparently, but I slept through it, yay Ambien!
I committed a spending and ordered Pride shirts from Hot Topic. I'm hoping they'll be here on Tuesday or Wednesday so I can wear one to the office on Thursday for the start of Pride month. I'm also hoping they fit, as they're a junior's 2xl. If they don't, I'll be sad. I really like them.
Rumor is that the Disney packages for next year will open up on 6/8, which is thankfully a Wednesday. I'm expecting to have to spend a few hours on the phone to add the package to my current reservations, so it's good that it'll be a day I'm at home.
Okay, I'm going to consider the merits of putting on pants now. Have a good Saturday y'all.
