So quit my whining 'cause it's bringing her down
Late one today! I decided to wait to post until after my appointment with my primary care doctor, just on the off chance I had something to report. Sadly, we continue to be in limbo. She also still thinks it's either my sinus or inner ear, so I have a referral to an ENT and a neurologist. She wants me to go to the ENT first.
I called to make an appointment, but the ENT doesn't have an appointment until late June, so I'm debating going to a non-Hopkins ENT. Right now they have me set up for a hearing test and a balance test for the 24th, then an actual appointment with the doctor for the Monday after. On one hand, it sounds like they're being very thorough, and I appreciate that. On the other, fucking June? Yeesh.
I may also just schedule with the neuro, just to follow up, since I haven't been seen in a while for my migraines and stenosis. Maybe I can get in there sooner.
In the meantime, here I sit, dizzy with random eye twitches.
I survived going in the office for the day yesterday, though I gotta say, not much work actually got done. My shoulders and back are pissed today from toting around the computer equipment and sitting in a shitty chair all day.
It reminded me that I don't really like people. There were a few who it was nice to see, but overall, it was just blah. I really could have lived without people hugging me. Covid, people! I stayed masked the entire day, even though it's no longer mandatory. Not ready to stop that yet.
On the plus side, after all the aforementioned hefting and toting, I have a lovely new set up. The monitors are huge, and the laptop is pretty fast, even if it's not a top of the line one. The hookup that they have for the monitors is interesting. I'm curious if it could be used for my computer for our games, so I would have the two monitors. Might make it easier for D&D if I can have two windows to use.
Tonight is Monster of the Week, a rare Friday game. I'm looking forward to it. It's been too long since we played.
For now though, I'm going to do a whole lot of nothing. Have an awesome Friday, y'all!
