And I slept in last night's clothes and tomorrow's dreams

It's Friday! To celebrate, I stayed in bed til 8! I probably could have loafed a little longer, but the bathroom situation was getting dire, and my brain was telling me I was being lazy, so I got up. Today, I have to pick up our groceries from Walmart, and that's about it. I did have a mammogram scheduled, but I rescheduled. I just couldn't quite bring myself to do it today. I know it and the Cologuard are important, but damn, they're a pain.

We do have D&D tonight, so that's exciting. It's a TTRPG weekend, as I have Monster of the Week tomorrow and our other D&D game on Sunday. My voice should be shot by the end of it, but I'll be happy. Tonight, I believe our intrepid heroes are going to go check out a deserted ship that's resting in the middle of the land, that may or not be a white dragon's property. It's also relatively close to the Big Bad's lair, so I'm sure that'll go well for them.

Yesterday, I spent most of the day working in the inbox off and on. None of the markets came in, so I had nothing else to do. It was a long day, even though it was my short day. In the late afternoon, we had a team huddle, where they came up with a purely asinine way to deal with something that should just be worked normally. It's probably going to put more shit on my plate, because of course, they're being added to the Teamwork folder. No clue if this will continue after we take over the other project, since they supposedly overlap.

It doesn't help that our managers are both new, so they don't necessarily understand how stupid this solution is. The team is all for it, since they know that it probably won't be their problem. But since it'll probably be mine, I'm a little less thrilled. But, this is what's happening, so not much I can do about it. I have a one on one next Thursday, so I might voice my concerns then, but I wasn't going to bitch in a team meeting.

Okay, at some point, I've got to go get Dad up, and put on clothes so I can go pick up the Walmart order. Everyone have a lovely Friday!
