Are you aware? You're my lifeline
It's Saturday and all my packages are finally coming today! This is exciting for me. Last night, my Shein order came, and everything fit! There's one shirt, I'm not quite sure how the fuck it gets worn, so I probably won't do much with it, but the other two are really cute. Especially the one that made me buy from them is adorable, and makes my boobs look fantastic.
Today, I have a small Torrid order with two clearance shirts coming and our meat order. I decided to try out a meat delivery service, hoping to get better quality meat than I do from Walmart, and more ethically sourced, so I put in an order with Good Chop. They seem to have some good reviews, and it's not much more expensive than Walmart overall. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing what the meat is like. We've got beef, chicken, pork and salmon coming sometime before 7pm.
After a somewhat late D&D session last night, I slept like a rock. Didn't wake up until 7am, and dozed until about 8:30, which was a nice change.
D&D was a high-plot session. Our heroes picked up the polar bear cart and headed for the big city lights of Bryn Shandar. During the ride, they questioned the undead warrior they'd been traveling with for weeks about his former employer. He stated that the guy was an asshole, but one who was adept at cheating death and had several clones at the ready. He has a stronghold in the mountains between two of the local Goliath clans. He has no loyalty to Dzann, and will fight for Gamin, who was Dzann's simulacrum made real boy by the party.
A few comments from Gamin, and they realize that Dzann is probably an extremely high level wizard, who could flatten the party from a mile away with a meteor swarm. They decide not to actively piss off the wizard right now.
A quick discussion later, they decided to head to Good Mead to drop off the awakened bush at the greenhouse.
A discussion with the town speaker and head druid gave them a little information about the Children of the Frost, druids who serve Auril. They've been around for five years, but have definitely stepped up their game since Auril started weaving the spell of endless winter.
They bid the sentient bush goodbye, and head back to Bryn Shandar for the bathhouse and shopping! They also chat with the new (personally installed) Speaker of Bryn Shandar and get her blessing on their next quest.
Then, it's off to the prison to interrogate Vaelish Gant, who was imprisoned for attempting to take over the ten towns.
The rogues stealth and the rest of the crew use the letter they got from the Speaker to be allowed to go interrogate the prisoner.
With a sneaky detect thoughts on the prisoner, they get some information about the Arcane Brotherhood, a cabal of evil wizards, and that the Brotherhood was sending a group of their wizards to search the Reghed glacier for the lost city of Netheril, a fabled magical city of lore.
Thus armed with another plot hook, we ended the night as it was now 11:30, and we were all wiped out.
Okay, time to start the day! Have a good Saturday y'all!
