Without you, there'd be no sun in my sky
Today should be a nap day. Everything is running behind in my brain. I woke up at 4:45, and took my Rybelsus, then fell back asleep. The alarm was not a welcome sound at 6, let me tell you. I was warm and snuggled in, and I wanted to stay that way. If I was Noodles the pug, it would definitely be a no bones kind of day.
But, here I am upright, ew. I did all the markets yesterday, so today will be another quiet day at work. I'll probably work the inbox some, but that's usually not enough to keep me busy. Everything has been quiet before the holidays. We'll probably have a little surge over the next two weeks, but it shouldn't be too bad.
Jess made their very excellent shortbread for us yesterday. They were extra tasty. I'm going to have some with my coffee in a little while. Who knows what we'll bake today!
I put in an order at Walmart to get some more food, and a new coffee pot, as our current one seems to be giving up the ghost a little at a time. I love their curbside pickup. It's probably a little more expensive, but so totally worth it to me. Last time we actually shopped in the store, I had a sugar crash and needed to suck down a sprite, and Jess got so overheated they nearly passed out in line. It was not a good time.
I'm going to write out my holiday cards this week, so if you want one, please let me know! I'll screen comments below, so if you want to leave your address, I'll be happy to send them out. (If you sent me a card already, I already have your address).
