Two weeks ago, the office I work in had a minor flood. It was during Jess' spring break, and I was actually considering taking Saturday off so we could do something. For some reason, I decided to go in. When I walked in, I could hear the water dripping. The pipe in the office above us burst, and was raining down into two of the three exam rooms, as well as our front office (thankfully, not near the computers). I did mop up most of Saturday morning, until our very nice, but highly ineffective building super got in.
For as much water as we had, damage was minimal, really. The cover on the overhead light fell out and gashed the exam table in one room and the wallpaper began peeling in that same room a day later.
Which brings me to my job this afternoon...picking out wall paper. *giggle* Any of you who have seen my design skills are free to laugh loudly. I have crappy color matching skills, and a highly odd idea of what looks good. Jess and I are going to have a bizarre house one day. *grin*
But, damn. There are some really ugly wallpapers out there.
Whee, this should be fun.
