Make his fight on the hill in the early day
And it's Monday again. Ugh and double ugh. It's probably going to be a quiet day, since my markets won't come in until late (assuming they come in before I leave). The project folder is at zero, so I'll be twiddling my thumbs waiting for some work to show up. Maybe I'll be lucky and the inbox will be busy.
Last night, we hit up Habit Burger rather than cook. I really love their food, but god, they give you a lot of it. I still have half a tenderloin steak sandwich for lunch today (not complaining). My sister left half a sandwich as well, so I have plenty of noms for the day.
Tonight, it will be sliced smoked sausage in a brown sugar whiskey sauce. It's not the most fancy food, but it's pretty good. Also, it's dirt simple to make, which I appreciate.
Tomorrow, we shall do something a little more interesting, maybe.
Now that the vacation is all planned, I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. I'm not good at waiting. I've decided to start making a list of what we want to take food-wise. First on the list is coffee, and coffee creamer. I figure what I'll save in Starbucks will almost pay for the extra cost for the condo. Plus, it gives me something to plan, which makes me happy, and I can forget that vacation is still 52 days away.
Apparently, we're on target in sales to actually get a bonus this year, which is the first time in all my years at IKEA that we've gotten one. The last bonus was five years ago, when I first joined, but was not yet eligible for it. I don't know how much we'll get, but it'll be nice whatever it is. It would be awesome if it came in time for vacation, but I'm not sure how it works.
Okay, it's a short one today. Everyone have your best possible Monday!
