And I like the way you like me best
Snow day the second! Unfortunately, as the boss, my sister ended up going to work half a day yesterday, and is on her way in today. I will of course, be worried until she is home again. It's still snowing lightly, but no more accumulation is really expected.
All in all, we only got about 6", with a layer of ice between the two snows, so it's crunchy and questionable footing. The best of both worlds!
The last two days, my lower back has been hurting for no apparent reason. If this is the precursor to another period, I will be much displeased. I liked it much better when it stayed away for six months. Perimenopause is balls.
Work was a pile of projects, so that was fun. Nothing horrible, just reschedules, but I was working the spreadsheet at the same time as my boss, so y'know, no goofing around, just plow through. I'm sure there will be a pile more reschedules coming in due to the weather up and down the East Coast, which coincidentally is where a large majority of our stores are located. (Seriously, the NY area has like 6 stores by itself.)
Last night, I was just done with everything. I was aching all over, had a headache from hell, and even my hands ached. I forget most of the time that I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but once in a while my body needs to remind me in the most annoying way possible. I went to bed early, and promptly couldn't sleep. I finally had to take an extra muscle relaxant before things loosened up enough that I was able to doze off.
Despite that, I'm not horribly tired today yet. Probably about 3pm, it'll kick in and I'll be ready for a nap.
