I'm not happy when I try to fake it
Half day today! We're picking up our Christmas dinner today, so I took off early. I think I will try to fix my flat rear tire with a can of fix-a-flat, but I will probably wait for Shelly to get home and take her car just to be safe. My rear passenger tire started going flat after my birthday. I don't have anything major planned, so it's sat. But it's supposed to be nice out, and the snow has mostly melted, so I'm going to actually do a thing. I'm set up to get two new tires on the 26th after I get paid, and then, in a couple of weeks, I'll do it again, and get two more tires.
I could just have the car towed to NTB, but we'll see if the canned shit works first. I kinda hate going to NTB, because they're going to give me a list of shit that I need to have done (only half of which I trust). I like them for convenience, but damn, they always find something new that will have to be done. I think I'm at the tune of $3000 worth of busy work for them. If we ever get stimulus checks, I might have to take the RAV4 to the real mechanic and let him look at her.
Package is still showing as "in Baltimore." Nothing more. I'm going to go shopping on the 24th with all the other lunatics and see if I can find a little something for Dad, because I just don't think it's gonna get here. I'm also thinking an Amazon Gift Card.
I had a lot of sushi last night, fairly late in the evening, and I was so overfull, I had trouble getting to sleep. Sam was blessedly absent, though, so once I got to sleep, I stayed asleep. The alarm was still too early.
Now, to work. We're having some problems with my system not behaving, so we'll probably be working on that today.
