Another hero, another mindless crime
Is it naptime now? I slept kinda rough, so this morning, I'm very tired. I am not looking forward to work, even if it's an early day for me.
I cannot believe it's nearly Thanksgiving. I mean, I know I bought our dinner last week, but it seemed so far away, and now it's just over a week. We're doing our traditional Cracker Barrel meal. We'll have turkey for days, which is fine with me, since that's my favorite food. (I'm weird, I know) It comes with dressing, and three sides as well as a pumpkin pie and pecan pie. It's a lot of food for four people, but I'd rather do that than the smaller meal, which usually had no leftovers. I like leftovers. Turkey sandwiches with dressing for the win!
Yesterday, I felt kind of crappy. My stomach has been iffy, and I just felt blah. I don't know if I ate something that didn't agree with me or if it was just a bad day. I don't think I have a bug or anything-I feel fine today.
There's nothing like having your acting boss (who is actually two levels up the food chain from where a normal boss would be) send you a message of "Can I call you?" It turned out that it was just a customer issue that needed attention, and I had been in the case so she turned to me, but it was a few anxious minutes before she actually called. She's very nice, but y'know, high-ranking manager. Even if you haven't done anything that you can think of, it's nervewracking.
