Friday!

And I'm up early. Jess had a migraine from hell yesterday, so I figured I would let them sleep in. Hopefully, it'll be enough to break the headache part. I'm sure they'll still have the post-migraine cotton muffled head, where you just feel fragile, but hopefully that'll be it. I think it was the changing weather-I had a little headache, but nothing like that.

I'm slightly less bitchy this morning. At work, we finished up the biggest tab of the spreadsheet, and the next one is a little easier, so it will progress a little faster. And of course, now it is my weekend, which is good. I don't know what I'm doing today, but I'll find something. Of course, I'll be watching Great British Bake Off on Netflix, because I wait patiently for each week's episode to come out.

We had to push the gas lines off to next Friday, because it takes time to move the money into a usable account. Once it's done, we'll have enough to do this project, and maybe tackle our busted handicap ramp. (One of the boards broke out. Easy enough to avoid, but it means we can't get Dad out of the house.) I think we may get a new ramp, maybe one out of the front door. We'll see what the ramp people say. There's a lip on the back door that's hard for him to step over, but our front yard is very hilly, and might be difficult to navigate. I'll call the ramp people after we get the gas sorted out.

Fridays are kind of my liminal space. They're not the workweek, but I never do anything on Friday, so it's not truly the "weekend." Tomorrow, I have things to do. Today will be boring and quiet. Maybe I'll go out to get dinner, since it's payday. I don't mind working on Sunday, that's not truly weekend to me either. Tomorrow, I have to go to the Russian church to pick up our food, and then I have TTRPG. It'll keep me busy until at least 4:30pm. I like that. I like busy.

Next week, I have Thursday off, since that was the only day Yoda's groomer had an opening. He does so well with Ms. Paulette that I wouldn't have anyone else groom him, so day off it is. Not really a hardship, having three days off.
