Of course, I woke up at 6 today. C'mon, body, it's a day off! I have to wait til 1pm to pickup shit from the Greek Grab and Go. We had Dunkin for breakfast, which was pretty good. It will fortify me until I can have my souvlaki.
I saw that the Cheeto approached Garth Brooks for a campaign ad. I'm hoping he didn't accept, because I don't want to have to break up with Garth. If I have to, I will--I'm not going to support someone who is backing the Cheeto.
Now, I am into the waiting part of the day. I have nothing to do right now, so I've been re-reading the Infinite Coffee and Protection Detail by Owlet. It soothes me when I feel shitty, mental health wise.
Yesterday, we finished the Umbrella Academy. I am of two minds on how I feel about this. One, I wanted it to go on forever, but two, it was so fucking satisfying. The team finally being on one page to go help Vanya was emotionally affecting. And the final battle was perfect. Though, Diego sweetheart? You can bend bullets, yet you're running around bending knives? Yeesh. And Vanya will always be the bomb, but that isn't always a bad thing.
I cannot wait to see what they do with Season 3.
Monster of the Week game is set for 4pm today. I'm looking forward to it eagerly. It's definitely a high spot of my weekend.
