I pray for the wicked on the weekend
I actually slept til 8 today! Yay! It's so rare on a Saturday. Usually, I wake up around 6:30. I even went to bed early.
I've been having some stomach issues lately. Seems like if I eat a big meal, I barf shortly thereafter. I thought it had something to do with the salt content, since up til last night, all the food I threw up was very salty, but last nights dinner wasn't particularly salty, but it was really good, so I did eat a bit more than I should have.
We got the really good kabob place that specializes in Uzbekistan food, Silk Road Bistro. They also have amazing desserts. We got Shelly and Jess the homemade baklava, and Dad and I had their homemade Napoleon, which is this amazing confection of sweet cream and delicate pastry, with a tart jam drizzled over it. So fucking tasty.
Aside from that, nothing on tap for today. I'll probably watch some of the DC Fandome, mostly for the Suicide Squad panel.
And if Safeway gets it's shit together, I'd like to pick up my SodaStream CO2 canisters. The original one kind of bought the farm. The order was to be ready around 2pm yesterday, but when I called today, it still hadn't been picked. If they're out of the canisters, I will be very wroth, as they're the only place that has it. Otherwise, it's an exorbitant shipping fee off SodaStream.com. We shall see.
