Oh... oh. Jesus, they treat the breeders with less respect then you'd treat an animal. They really are non-entities to the government. This does answer some questions though. I wondered if the Breeders were genetically created by the government and then put into service once they reached puberty, or if they were people the government found and then forced into service. I'm not quite sure which one is worse. To never know freedom, or to be free and then have it taken away. It seems like the government tries to completely break these men too so they're more "useful." Jesus.
