Spread as a green periwinkle
Today's subject line translated from the Ukraine's band Go_A. They apparently took what was basically a harvest song, and turned it into a banger.
I realized I should be sharing the joy of Eurovision with y'all.
The interview yesterday went...okay, I think? It was pretty short, only four questions. It seemed like the whole thing was basically to make sure I understood that it was required to move on a regular basis for the job, which I knew. I should know in two weeks whether I get to move forward. The next step is a full-day assessment complete with another interview, a project and a group project. That's not terrifying at all.
I'm trying to keep my expectations low, but I really, really want this job. In third year, you get to be a store manager, which is a salary of $100k. (I am aware that I'll have to work hard, but still.) I can't even imagine having that much money. The only thing I worry is that after year 3, there's a possibility they'd move me overseas. Which might mean moving without Jess, which is not great.
Today, I am off work, as the doggo has his day of beauty! For once, he goes into his appointment without a major poopy butt. This is an accomplishment! I always feel bad for his groomer when she has to shave the poop off his little butt.
So, y'know, long weekend! And not a D&D weekend, so we will be able to get some shopping and stuff done.
Hope everyone has a good Thursday!
