Things that I am Thankful For

1. My beautiful fiance, nilchance who I love with all my heart.

2. My family. I regularly borrow a quote from Mick Foley's book Have A Nice Day. "If anyone ever hears me moaning about what a horrible childhood I had, smack me." I love them, and they mean the world to me, especially after this last few years, in which they've taken both the news that I'm pagan, and gay without a hitch, and welcomed my love with open arms. They make me crazy, but they're wonderful.

3. My friends. You all know who you are. I'm so lucky to have met so many great people online, many of whom I've gotten to meet and find just as wonderful in the flesh.

4. Cari. You get a special mention, m'dear. Jess and I couldn't have asked for a better friend and cheering section. *hug* I adore you, and we're so luck to have you.

5. My health. Allergies aside, I'm pretty damned lucky.

6. My sanity. Not all that long ago, I liked to ride the razor's edge, just for the thrill of knowing I could fall. I'm grateful to whatever kept me from toppling, cause I wouldn't miss this life for the world.

7. I don't always agree with what the people in power do, but I'm thankful they're there. I'll bitch about their decisions, but I'm glad someone other than me is there to make them.

8. My job. I have a great boss, a good job, and I get to perforate children. What could be better?

9. My home. It's not perfect, but it's ours.

I'm sure there is others, but those'll do for a start. *grin*
