Cause love's such an old fashioned word
Happy Thanksgiving! Here's hoping everyone enjoys their day, and has some good noms. The rest of our sides failed to show, so here's hoping we have enough for everyone. Next week one night, we're going to eat well. I'm a little sad, but I think we'll be okay. We have a buttload of turkey, so we'll just have to go heavy on that.
Aside from a nice dinner, we have no plans today. My sister will go over to her in-laws and have first dinner, then she'll come home and have second dinner. Maybe while she's out, we'll watch Hawkeye. I'm not a huge fan of Renner as a human being, but I like the character, and they seem to be borrowing heavily from Matt Fraction's run, which was awesome.
I cracked yesterday and had a piece of the pumpkin pie for breakfast. Which of course meant that Dad wanted some of the cheesecake for a snack. That much, I'm not worried about. We have so much dessert. I had another piece for breakfast today, so y'know. It's all good.
Work dragged yesterday. I had stuff to do most of the day, but it just seemed to go on forever. I was very happy to get out of there at 4:30. I'm looking forward to having three days off.
Tomorrow, I'm going to start buying Christmas presents. I have a plan and all. I just have to figure out which inexpensive Chromebook I'm getting for my sister. She's basically getting two presents-a new coat and the computer. I might get a few cheap things so she'll have extra stuff to open, but that's going to be about it. It's probably going a little overboard, but if I can't spend a little of my bonus on family, who can I spend it on?
Aside from that, nothing else exciting going on. It's probably going to be a quiet weekend for the most part. Hoping everyone has a good day!
