Everybody wants a box of chocolates and a long-stem rose

It's Monday! That doesn't really mean anything, since I work on Sunday, but Mondays are always a little busy. I'm going to be doing the delivery updates since my coworker has PTO starting at noon, so that should keep me busy. I had the inbox yesterday, which wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I was expecting 70-100 emails to deal with, but there were only 40. I got them knocked out by lunch and spent the rest of the day just maintaining it between working my markets.

Thankfully, it seems like the old transport provider has settled down on sending "we still have this in our warehouse" nastygrams. Most of them were cancelled orders that they shouldn't have been holding onto. I went through and verified that all the remaining orders had cases for the return to the store, and sent it to both the transport company and the IKEA operational director, so she can deal with them.

I realized that I forgot to buy lunch meats at the Amish market, so who knows what I'll be having for lunch this week. I don't think we have much in the house aside from meats for dinner, and peanut butter tastes rancid to me post-covid, so I can't even have that. We did get some milk, so cereal it is. I also do have eggs, so that's something. I can at least nuke some scrambled eggs.

On the good side, the dog had a normal poop, so the blood was apparently a one-time thing, which was good, because my heart couldn't take it more than that.

I'm thinking about getting a bicycle. I do this every so often, usually in spring and fall. I need to get more exercise, and with it warming up a little, the cold air wouldn't kill my asthma. We shall see whether this happens or not. I'd really prefer to get a tricycle, just for the stability, but they're expensive, and probably hard to put together. Though depending on how much the car's brakes cost, maybe with the stimulus check. It is something to think about.
